Welcome to TrackMyPaw. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TrackMyPaw mobile application (the "App") operated by TrackMyPaw ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use TrackMyPaw. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
To use TrackMyPaw, you must create an account using an email address and password or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for:
You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or use another user's account without permission.
You can add one or more dogs to a single account and choose which dog or dogs join each walk. Each dog has its own profile, its own care records, and its own leaderboard standing.
Free use. You may create an account and use TrackMyPaw at no charge. Free accounts can record up to five (5) walks in total (lifetime, across all dogs on your account).
TrackMyPaw Pro. After your five free walks, you will be prompted to subscribe to TrackMyPaw Pro in order to record additional walks. TrackMyPaw Pro unlocks unlimited walk recording. All other features of the App — including viewing your walk journal and past walks, your profile, dog profiles, photos you have already saved, statistics, weather history, and the leaderboard — remain fully available to free users without a subscription. Care features are described in Section 7.
The exact subscription title, length of each billing period, and price are displayed in the App before purchase and are also visible in your Apple Subscriptions settings. We may also offer an introductory free trial; if offered, the length of the trial and the price that applies after the trial are shown on the paywall before you confirm the subscription.
You can view, manage, and cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time in your device's Account Settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no partial refunds are issued for unused portions. You may also restore previous purchases within the App from the Paywall screen.
We may offer a free trial to eligible new subscribers. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial will automatically convert into a paid subscription and your Apple ID will be charged the applicable subscription fee. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We are not able to issue refunds directly.
We may change subscription prices from time to time. If a price change affects your subscription, we will notify you through the App or through Apple in accordance with Apple's requirements, and you will be given the opportunity to cancel before the change takes effect.
You agree not to use TrackMyPaw to:
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion.
You retain ownership of any photos, text, or other content you upload to TrackMyPaw ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App (for example, displaying your walk photos in your journal or your profile photo on the leaderboard).
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that you have the right to upload it and that it does not violate the Acceptable Use rules above or any applicable law.
Proactive filtering. Dog names are checked against a list of slurs, sexual terms, and other objectionable language at the moment you submit them. Entries that match are rejected before they are saved or shown on the leaderboard.
Reporting and blocking. You can report another user directly from the leaderboard by tapping the "…" menu next to their entry and choosing Report. You can also Block a user from the same menu to stop seeing them on your leaderboard. Alternatively, you may email us at trackmypaw.team@gmail.com to report content or behaviour that violates these Terms.
Review turnaround. We review reported content and take appropriate action, which may include removal of the content and suspension or termination of the offending account. We aim to review reports within 24 hours, though complex cases may take longer. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
By using the leaderboard feature, you understand and agree that each of your dogs' names, breeds, photos, and walk statistics (distance, XP, walk count) will be visible to all other authenticated TrackMyPaw users, with each dog ranked as its own leaderboard entry. If you have not set a dog photo, your profile photo is shown on the leaderboard as a fallback. Your display name is stored with your dogs' leaderboard entries and may be visible to other signed-in users. Your walk routes, walk photos, and your dogs' care and health records are not shared on the leaderboard.
In TrackMyPaw 1.2.0 and later, the App lets you keep care and health records for your dogs — vaccines, medications, treatments, care routines, feeding, weight history, allergies, ongoing conditions, notes for the vet, and your own observations — and to combine them with your walk history into a Vet Visit Report you can share.
TrackMyPaw is a record-keeping tool, not a medical device and not a source of veterinary advice. The App stores and displays what you enter. It does not diagnose conditions, does not recommend medications, doses, schedules, foods, or supplements, and does not interpret what you record. Nothing in the App is a substitute for examination and advice from a licensed veterinarian.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for the decisions you make about your dog's health. Always consult a veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment, and seek immediate veterinary attention in an emergency — never delay doing so because of anything shown in the App.
Reminders are scheduled locally by your device and can be delayed or missed for reasons outside our control (notifications turned off, Focus modes, Low Power Mode, a device that is off or out of storage, or the App being uninstalled). Do not rely on TrackMyPaw as the only reminder for a medication, vaccine, or treatment that matters.
Reports and summaries you generate are created on your device. Once you share one, its contents are outside our control. See our Privacy Policy for how care records are stored and who can see them.
TrackMyPaw uses your device's GPS to track walks. You must grant location permission for walk tracking to function. Location data is only collected during active walk sessions that you initiate. You can revoke location permissions at any time in your device settings. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
You may permanently delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Delete Account). Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data, including your profile, dog profiles, care and health records, walk history, photos, and leaderboard entries. If you want to keep your dog's health history, export a Vet Visit Report before you delete your account. This action cannot be undone. Abuse reports filed by you or about you are kept in our moderation records after deletion, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your device's Account Settings before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and all content other than user-generated content, is the property of TrackMyPaw and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.
TrackMyPaw is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
You use the App at your own risk. Please be aware of your surroundings when walking and always prioritise your safety and the safety of your dog.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrackMyPaw and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, personal injury, or property damage arising out of or related to your use of the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrackMyPaw and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the App and delete your account.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the competent courts of Ukraine, except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights.
Nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you may have the right to submit disputes to an online dispute-resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
The following terms apply because you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store. They are required by Apple Inc. ("Apple") and supplement the rest of these Terms:
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.
